Dear Fellow Island Residents.

The core group of volunteers from the Kunuku Man Team cleared 700 meters of the verge of the Nijlweg today of everything that does not belong there..

Such as plastic bags, foam boxes, plastic cutlery and other lightweight single-use items, cardboard, car parts, and more. Trash that belongs at the landfill (and was transported there), 38 kg. In addition, the team also found recyclable items, including 18 kg of beer bottles, 3 kg of plastic bottles, and 2 kg of aluminum cans.
A total of 61 kg of trash removed from the roadside over a length of 700 meters.

EMPTY BEER BOTTLES: 18 KILO.

ALUMINUM CAN: 2 KILO.

PLASTIC BOTTLES : 3 KILOS.

RESIDUAL JUNK: 38 KILOS (LANDFILL)

So people, STOP STOP throwing everything outside and come hand in your glass, plastic bottles, and aluminum cans and receive money. 💰💰💰 And OF COURSE the rest of your trash goes home with you for your own wheelie bin, right? Thankssssss.
